Featuring A6's top-of-the-range navigation and connectivity systems
MMI Navigation Plus with MMI Touch. Includes HDD-based navigation with topographical map display, places of interest and town models in 3D. Destinations can be entered via the speech dialogue system or MMI touch. Also includes 8" display, DVD player and 2 SDXC memory card readers
Driver's Information System (DIS) with 7" colour display. High-resolution TFT colour 7" display in direct field of view of the driver. Shows information from driver assistance systems, media in use, telephone menu, gear, outside temperature and other display content of the MMI such as night vision assistant (if optionally selected)
Audi Connect and Audi Phone Box. Audi Connect provides access to a number of innovative online services including: navigation using Google Earth images™ and Google Street View™, destination entry via Google Maps™ or myAudi, online point of interest search and information services such as weather forecasts and the latest world news. Audi Connect can also create a Wi-Fi hotspot in the car for convenient Internet access using a mobile device (e.g. laptop or tablet). Enables phone calls to be made with improved reception quality by placing the mobile phone in the storage compartment provided in the centre console to create a ‘wireless’ connection to the vehicle aerial (subject to network coverage). Operated via the MMI control panel, the multi-function steering wheel or the voice control system. Charging available via USB port. Audi Phone Box option also provides an additional Bluetooth interface for a second device, meaning two mobile phones can be connected to the vehicle simultaneously. An external data source is required to enable Audi connect online services. One of the two can be used:
1. A mobile telephone with Bluetooth SIM Access Profile – To check the compatibility of your mobile phone and if it has SIM Access Profile compatibility, please visit: http://www.audi.co.uk/phonecompatibility
